The North Coast of New South Wales is a very special place for all kinds of holiday makers to unearth the magic of the rainforests, the miles of pristine beaches and the urban diversity. The North Coast boasts many villages, all with charm and character spread from the coast to the hinterland. Each village offers its own unique experience. Whether you are looking for the gallery trail or a great cup of coffee, our villages have it all. In the hub of the North Coast’s villages lies the City of Lismore, the Beef Capital- Casino and Ballina by the Sea.

A trip to the North Coast will excite your senses. The people and the sights will provide an enthralling and enriched experience. Whether you are planning an extended stay or just a fleeting visit there will be plenty to see and do.

Life in the early days on the North Coast revoloved around the Rivers where river transport was a major influence. The rivers linked many communitites before “The Big Scrub” was cleared and the road network developed. The river and beaches are still very prominent in the lives of people on the North Coast.
